JoAnn had a difficult medical history from the time she was 21, which included multiple brain aneurysms, procedures and surgeries. Throughout all of this she maintained a positive attitude, always with a smile in her heart and on her face.

On April 4, 2007, JoAnn had a seizure which caused a traumatic brain injury and left her impaired.  She went through nearly two months of rehabilitation until May 21 when her last aneurysm claimed her life.  

My children and I have set up The JoAnn Mannelli Fund to ensure that the memory of JoAnn will live on. The fund will provide information about aneurysms, as well as provide an annual college scholarship to Northport High School students.
